DAVID M. COETZEE
David Coetzee appointed as Senior Vice President and a member of the board of directors of Premier Gold Capital and Investment Director on January 2014.
HISTORY
David M. Coetzee is actively involved with Premier Gold Global from 2010 after his own group operations was taken over and incorporated within Premier Gold Global. He joined the main board of directors in January 2014 and was elected as Investment Director in January 2014.
David was raised in a semi-professional family. His grandparents are of French and Belgian descent and immigrated to South Africa. After doing his compulsory military service he began his career. It was not until David was of age when his father told him that his grandparents had a deep embedded heritage in mining and had ownership of gold mines in South Africa.
He then embarked on educating and training himself in the commodity markets; started accumulating his wealth becoming a private investor in the late 90’s, eventually trading equity options in dot-coms and IPO (underwriting). As an investor his interests included energy, finance, construction, information technology and telecommunications.
He was educated by a Wall Street investment writer and financial writer, reading technical analysis in future prices of stocks, commodities, and other financial assets traded on financial markets for which historical price and volume information is available. Further to that he had a baptism into the global trade markets and was mentored by an astute private investor. His focus is on global investments via the primary market and has an astute understanding of the financial markets. David currently serves as a non-executive member on investment companies and committees that engage in acquisition, financing, and other diverse business enterprises, as well as advisory boards in the financial securities industry. He has developed a newfound passion for private equity investments in real estate and other entrepreneurial opportunities.
He was the Chief Executive Chairman of DMC Group before it was taken over by Premier Gold Global. As a philanthropist David established the AARK NED & DMC Good Hope Foundations. It is devoted to nourishing, enhancing and developing. He currently holds the position of Chief Executive Director of Premier Gold Capital, Portfolio Director in his capacity as Senior Vice President of Premier Gold Global Wealth and also serves as a committee member of various committees within Premier Gold Global.
